About the Role

This role offers an excellent opportunity for a radiographer to develop their expertise in mammography, working closely with our experienced clinical teams to provide exceptional patient care.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic radiography, with experience in IT systems and familiarity with the healthcare sector. We require individuals who are knowledgeable about radiation regulations, College of Radiographers' guidelines, and HCPC Code of Conduct / Accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the efficient operation of the Imaging Department, providing a consistent and high-quality service to patients and visitors.
  • Carry out general and specialized radiographic procedures within their scope of competence, assessing patients and interpreting clinical requirements to determine appropriate techniques.
  • Undertake imaging examinations according to departmental operational procedures and policies, using techniques that produce the lowest radiation dose while producing high-quality images.
  • Practice good radiation protection and safety, observing Local Rules and Systems of Work.
