The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is a world-leading cancer centre, and we are currently recruiting for a Radiographer Leader to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a radiographer with postgraduate experience in mammography and CT to take on a leadership role and contribute to the delivery of high-quality imaging services.
As a radiographer leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the imaging service, ensuring that protocols and standards are maintained and improved to produce the best possible diagnostic information and patient care. You will also be required to perform imaging examinations as an operator under the Ionising Radiation (Medical Exposure) Regulations 2017, following the Royal College of Radiologists guidelines, local rules, and departmental standard operating procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will require a strong educational background in radiography, including a DCR/BSc or equivalent, and a postgraduate certificate in mammography. You will also need evidence of good analytical, organisational, communication, and computer skills. Additionally, you should have the ability to express yourself clearly in English, both verbally and in writing.
We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 per annum, as well as opportunities for flexible working and career development. If you are a motivated and enthusiastic radiographer who is keen to contribute positively to our imaging service, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
