Aerospace Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Maintenance Engineer to join our team at GKN Aerospace. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our production systems and equipment.
The successful candidate will have experience working with CNC milling machines and a strong understanding of maintenance engineering principles. You will work closely with our team leaders to ensure all equipment is in top working condition and provide time-planned maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns and delays.
We offer a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, plus benefits including a 35-hour week day shift pattern and 185 hours annual leave. If you are passionate about delivering operational excellence and contributing to the future of aviation, we encourage you to apply.
About the Role
- Maintain and improve the integrity of production systems and equipment
- Perform time-planned maintenance activities to prevent breakdowns and delays
- Work closely with team leaders to ensure all equipment is in top working condition
- Conduct forensic and root cause failure analysis of asset failures
- Provide technical advice to the maintenance team
