We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical and Electrical Technician to contribute to our team at Beckton Sewage Treatment Works. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to our environmental impact and work in a multi-discipline team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate plant failures and carry out repairs as quickly and efficiently as possible to avoid interruptions to the process.
  • Diagnose complex faults and perform repairs during incidents.
  • Provide technical advice and support for technical trainees.
  • Work on various equipment, including motors, gearboxes, screw/chain conveyors, centrifuges, pumps, control gear, electronic control systems, and chemical handling equipment.

As a Mechanical and Electrical Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment. You will work closely with our team to identify and resolve technical issues, and provide training and support to colleagues.
