About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Renewi, a leading waste-to-product company. As a key member of our engineering team, you will contribute to the internal and external preventative, reactive, and corrective maintenance work on our plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a reactive and proactive maintenance service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure
  • Liaise with external contractors for reactive maintenance and schedule planned service maintenance
  • Follow and complete planned maintenance (PMs, RMs, and CMs) via a Computer Maintenance Management System
  • Actively participate in projects, continuous improvement, and modern manufacturing principles
  • Assist in the administration of the CMMS (Frontline) to ensure its accuracy at all times
Requirements
  • Multi-skilled maintenance engineer (mechanical and electrical) qualifications
  • IOSH - Managing Safely
  • Previous maintenance experience in a heavy industrial or waste environment
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement (CI) - Lean, Kan Ban, OEE, TOC, and other activities
  • Knowledge of various mechanical drive arrangements, including simplex, duplex, chain, belt, gearboxes, and transmissions
