Are you passionate about making a real impact on the environment? We have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Network Co-Ordinator within our SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment and Quality) department. Working with the Head of SHEQ for VINCI Energies UK & ROI, you will be supporting our 3 brands of Axians, Actemium and Omexom, as they all operate within different industries, offering great exposure for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge strong relationships with our Business Units, understanding their unique operations and crafting strategies to support their environmental ambitions.
  • Embrace our autonomous business model and operate effectively within it.
  • Master our environmental reporting system, guiding and assisting business units in interpreting and reporting their environmental data.
  • Provide expert guidance on scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions, and actively contribute to addressing scope 3 challenges.
  • Spearhead the rollout of sustainability initiatives, driving positive change across the organisation.
  • Assist in developing green offers and fostering a culture of sustainability within the business.
  • Elevate your expertise in science-based targets, ESOS, product lifecycle, and ESG, empowering and educating our Business Units along the way.

Person Specification:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Strong writing, presentation, communications and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint).
  • Previous work experience in a corporate environment within an Environmental role is desirable.
  • A passion for the Environment.
  • Attention to detail, tenacious and a self-starter.
