Job Description

Teaching Personnel is committed to finding talented and dedicated teachers like you to join our team. We are currently seeking an experienced Key Stage 2 Teacher to work in our schools located in Sheffield/Barnsley.

Role Overview

This is a temporary position, with the possibility of becoming permanent at a later date. As a KS2 Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the academic journey of our students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, creating a positive classroom environment, and collaborating with colleagues to promote student well-being and academic achievement.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of KS2 students, aligning with the national curriculum
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity, curiosity, and academic growth
  • Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support their development
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure student success and well-being
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Experience teaching KS2 students preferred, but newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
