Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Sheffield.

About the Role:

As a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide support to students with their learning activities. You will also be responsible for maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing behavior and ensuring classroom routines are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver lessons and provide support to students with their learning activities.
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment, managing behavior and ensuring classroom routines are followed.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support where needed, encouraging students to participate and strive for their best.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in an educational setting.
  • Prior experience working with children in an educational setting is highly valued.
  • A good standard of education, typically including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Math.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping children succeed.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate can expect a salary of around £95-£105 per day, depending on experience. Additionally, GSL Education offers a range of benefits to its staff, including competitive pay rates and a supportive working environment.
