About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Care Coordinator to join our team at Avery Healthcare. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults in our care.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Wellbeing Coordinator in providing a range of activities to engage and stimulate the physical, cognitive, and social well-being of our residents.

  • Maintaining a safe living environment, contributing to the positive image of the home.
  • Reporting changes in residents' physical or emotional condition to the Wellbeing Coordinator, Home Manager, and care staff.
  • Supporting with ordering and preparing supplies for upcoming activities as directed.
  • Establishing links with local communities to promote access and intergenerational activity.

A Competitive Salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience.

Requirements:
  • Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Demonstrate understanding of the role interaction plays in general well-being.
  • Positive attitude towards older people and commitment to providing quality activities and events.
  • Previous experience working with older people in residential nursing settings.
