We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at an outstanding SEN School in Brent. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with children who have Autism, and possess a kind and caring nature that enables them to work well with challenging behaviour.

No prior experience is required, as we offer free CPD courses to help you develop the necessary skills to excel in this role. Our comprehensive training program covers various topics, including Sensory Processing, Behaviour and the Primary Classroom, SEND Code of Practice, Mental Health Awareness, Autism-Friendly Classrooms, Understanding Autism, Manual Handling Awareness, and Safeguarding, Child Protection & Prevent Programme.

As a Teaching Assistant within our SEN School, you will be responsible for working 1:1 or in small groups with students, reporting on individual progress, liaising with parents, managing challenging behaviour, and using PECS. This rewarding role offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with varying special educational needs, including PMLD, ASC, MLD, SLD, HI, and VI.
