Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work as part of the Centralised Outpatient team, supporting specialist areas with competency-based skills required for the specialty. You will promote and deliver patient-centered care aligned with the Trust's vision and Nursing and Midwifery strategy.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Support specialist areas within Centralised Outpatients with competency-based skills required for the specialty.
  2. Promote and deliver patient-centered care aligned with the Trust's vision and Nursing and Midwifery strategy.
  3. Support a continuously improving service, in line with the clinical governance framework, Trust objectives, and the NHS Performance framework, including digital technology.
  4. Continually develop professionally to ensure the post holder has the appropriate level of skill, knowledge, and competence to meet the service/specialty requirements.
  5. Help maintain a clean and safe department.
  6. Contribute to managing stock levels and ordering stock appropriately.
  7. Maintain effective communication with patients, carers, relatives, and staff.
Requirements:
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent in health care related subject.
  • Care Certificate.
Desirable Criteria:
  • Specialty course, e.g., ECG, phlebotomy.
  • IT qualification.
