Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Vehicle Removal Assistant to join our team at Derbyshire Constabulary. As a key member of our Vehicle Fleet Team, you will play a crucial role in the management of our Vehicle Removal Scheme.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the release and/or disposal of all recovered vehicles, managing the disposal of vehicles by auction when appropriate.
- Represent the force in relation to Vehicle Recovery at National and Regional levels.
- Help with the development of Vehicle Recovery work systems and processing procedures.
- Liaise with contractors, police officers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience of administrative duties such as invoicing, accounting, and report writing.
- The ability to defuse difficult situations and effectively deal with distressed or irate individuals.
- Working knowledge of Data Protection and Computer Misuse legislation.
- The ability to carry out audits and inspections of contractor's premises.

Salary
The salary for this role is £27,789 - £29,874 per annum, with part-time hours calculated on a pro-rata basis.
