Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at Flex. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating electrical designs of switchboards and associated products, ensuring drawings are controlled, accurate, and easy to follow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems and switchboards for production and fabrication purposes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet technical and quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including drawings and specifications.
  • Identify and mitigate potential design risks and issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance design processes and product quality.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a production or design environment.
  • Knowledge of switchgear and electrical systems is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in 2D design using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
