Learning Support Assistant

An exciting opportunity to support children's learning and growth in an Ofsted-rated Good school in Upminster. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in the academic and personal development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized and small group support to students, particularly those with SEN.
  • Aid students both within and outside the classroom, promoting progression and attainment.
  • Confidently manage student behavior and implement strategies to support their success.
  • Collaborate with professionals to help students achieve their full potential.
Requirements:
  • A 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a reputable UK university.
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an SEN setting.
  • Strong behavior management skills and confidence in supporting students with SEND.
