**Job Summary:** ProMedical Personnel is seeking a skilled and experienced Band 6 Midwife to join our agency team in the East of England.

We require a qualified midwife to provide high-quality maternity care across postnatal wards, antenatal wards, and labor wards. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, ensuring the best possible outcomes for women and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to women and their families.
  • Perform assessments, screenings, and diagnostic tests to monitor the health and well-being of mother and baby.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Support women during labor and delivery, utilizing appropriate pain management techniques.
  • Provide education and support to new mothers on breastfeeding, newborn care, and postpartum recovery.
  • Identify and manage obstetric emergencies, escalating care when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records in accordance with NMC guidelines and local policies.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Registered Midwife with current NMC registration.
  • Commitment to delivering compassionate and evidence-based care.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for community-based roles.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development and willingness to participate in ongoing training.
  • Proficiency in using electronic health records and other clinical IT systems.
