Maternity Immunisation Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Maternity Immunisation Service. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to provide high-quality care to pregnant women and their babies.

The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare and a strong understanding of immunisation practices. They will be responsible for providing maternity immunisations, including Covid-19, Flu, RSV, and Pertussis, and will work closely with midwives, obstetric nurses, and other stakeholders to improve quality of care.

The successful candidate will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a patient-centred approach. They will be proficient in advising patients on immunisation benefits and risks and will be able to collate data for reporting purposes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide maternity immunisations, including Covid-19, Flu, RSV, and Pertussis
  • Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to improve quality of care
  • Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans
  • Advise patients on immunisation benefits and risks
  • Collate data for reporting purposes
