Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Element Solutions Inc. As a key member of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for driving continuous improvement across all areas of the business, monitored against key manufacturing KPIs such as yield loss, scrap, and customer complaints.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and implement corrective and preventative actions to minimize equipment downtime.
- Evaluate current production activities using statistical analysis tools to identify variation in the production process and drive recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and implement effective process monitoring tools and techniques to fully quantify process characteristics and monitor process variation.
- Manage and implement key projects associated with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Process Improvement.
- Develop detailed project plans and schedules to effectively execute capital investment on time, within budget, while maintaining a high level of coordination and communication with stakeholders.
- Develop commissioning and validation plans for new equipment within the manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety standards, implementation of Work Instructions, and Standard Operating Instructions.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a strong foundation in continuous manufacturing processes.
- Competent user of AutoCAD to view and edit site drawings.
- Competent user of MS Office applications.
- Experience in 3D design software (Autodesk Inventor) is desirable.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to engage with both internal and external customers.
- Experience in Six Sigma methodologies is desirable.
