This role involves working with a team of engineers to develop and deploy new technologies in production environments. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying process monitoring equipment, providing technical support, and training plant personnel. You will also implement solutions to fix short and long-term issues on process monitoring equipment and provide ongoing remote support.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deployment of process monitoring equipment and providing technical support on installation and commissioning.
  • Training plant personnel to ensure maximum positive impact of technology.
  • Implementation of solutions to fix short and long-term issues on process monitoring equipment.
  • Ongoing day-to-day remote support of deployed equipment.
  • Preparation of documentation, training material, and SOPs.
  • Creation of electrical drawings and BOMs.
  • Safe working practices and ensuring safety is a focus.
  • Commitment to delivering projects within budget and to an agreed timescale.
  • Focus on achieving results, meeting objectives, and self-development.
  • Collaboration with other members of the team and different departments across multiple engineering disciplines.
Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar, or qualified with significant experience.
  • Logical approach and problem-solving orientation.
  • Quality focus and clear communication skills.
  • Team player with self-motivation and ability to work autonomously.
  • IT proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
