Job Summary:

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our team as a Sub Agent / Site Agent. This is a permanent position that will involve overseeing the delivery of various civil engineering projects, including rail station redevelopments, bridge replacements, and other civils upgrades and improvement works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Supervise, coordinate, and monitor staff and sub-contractor performances to ensure successful project delivery in line with agreed deadlines and to the highest standard.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor own progress and the progress of others in accordance with the agreed project schedule, progress reporting against Safety, Quality, Schedule.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure clear understanding and compliance with drawings, specifications, building regulations, and good building practice while working closely with the Project Manager to highlight any issues.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in a Senior Engineer/Sub Agent role working on civils projects.
  • 4+ years of experience working in Civils constructions.
  • 1+ years of experience working with Irish/UK H&S/building regulations and compliance.
  • Enthusiastic personality with a strong work ethic, ability to work well using initiative, problem-solving when required.
