We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Production Technician/Machine Operator to join our team at Kingston Barnes Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for running high-speed production lines within a continuous manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities- Setting machines pre-production and running the line throughout the production process
- Performing tool changes, cleaning of machinery, and quality checks of the product
- Undertaking basic maintenance of machines, with a good understanding of mechanical engineering or manufacturing processes
- Machine or manufacturing operator background (ideal)
- Strong mechanical aptitude (qualifications or experience), previous candidates have come from a vehicle mechanics background
- Happy working shifts
- Happy working within a fast-moving, pressurized environment, FMCG ideal
- Looking for a career within manufacturing - Plastics knowledge would be useful (ideally Extrusion)
