Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Interaction Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on manufacturing machinery
  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance on an array of manufacturing machinery, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, packaging machinery, and ancillary machinery
  • Install and repair electrical-based equipment, PLCs, motor drives, invertors, and heating circuits
  • Implement continuous improvement methods to ensure smooth running of the plant and minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure smooth production of the plant
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer
  • Proven electrical capabilities in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities
  • Previous experience working in the packaging industry (advantageous)
  • Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQs) - advantageous
  • In-depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on manufacturing machinery
