Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Interaction Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing machinery. Your expertise in electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification will be essential in maintaining our production levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct planned and preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery, including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and packaging machinery.
• Install and repair electrical-based equipment, PLCs, motor drives, invertors, and heating circuits.
• Implement continuous improvement methods to minimize downtime and ensure smooth production.
• Collaborate with the engineering manager to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer.
• Proven electrical capabilities in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities.
• Previous experience working in the packaging industry is advantageous.
• Relevant mechanical or electrical qualifications are advantageous.
