Job Title: Registered Children's Home Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Children's Home Manager to lead our Children's Homes in Herne Bay, Kent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care and support for our young residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to provide a positive living experience for our residents.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
  • Work closely with Ofsted and other regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers and healthcare providers, to ensure the best possible outcomes for our residents.
  • Monitor and review the work practices of all staff to ensure they are meeting the highest standards of care and support.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience in operational/management and service at a children's residential setting.
  • Experience of working with children with EBD in a residential setting.
  • Experience of facilitating, organizing, and directing teams.
  • Experience of using childcare standards and best practice models to guide decision-making.
  • Knowledge of management theories and management qualifications.
  • Full knowledge of OFSTED requirements and satisfactory DBS check.
