Job Title: Registered Nurse - Nursing Home

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at a reputable Nursing Home in Halifax. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Responsibilities:

* Assess and plan individualized care plans for residents
* Provide pre- and post-operative care
* Administer medication and intravenous infusions
* Monitor vital signs and report any changes
* Supervise junior staff and coordinate workload
* Provide emotional support to residents and their families
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings

Requirements:

* Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) or RNLD
* Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
* Strong leadership and organizational skills
* Passion for person-centered care
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
