About the Role
The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Practitioner to join our team in Tain. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with their daily lives, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Support
- Assist individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities, such as day centres, cinema, swimming, and other community events.
- Personal Care
- Assist people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care, which would include assistance with bathing, dressing, arranging visits with healthcare professionals, and incontinence care.
- Practical Support
- Help individuals to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks, such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, and shopping.
