Logistics and Transport Coordinator

Workforce Staffing Ltd is seeking a skilled Logistics and Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely and efficient delivery to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the export and import of goods, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing haulier partners and customers, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Regularly review performance metrics to optimize logistics operations and achieve business objectives.
- Onboard new customers and hauliers, ensuring a seamless integration into our operations.
- Allocate loads and resources to maximize margin and meet customer expectations.
- Monitor delivery performance, notifying customers of any delays or issues.
- Work closely with the operations team to set and achieve targets aligned with key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date within our transportation management system (TMS).
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in transportation or logistics, with a strong understanding of export and import procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and hauliers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of customs documents and procedures, with the ability to ensure compliance.
- Target-driven and focused on achieving business objectives.
