This centre prides itself on delivering high-quality services, relying on the dedication and expertise of its staff and leaders. As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery and improvement of services.

To be considered for this position, you must be NMC registered and possess a V300 qualification, with previous experience in primary care. Your key duties will include:

  • Assessing your own learning needs through performance reviews and developing annual objectives to support service delivery and improvement.
  • Developing and enhancing clinical and leadership skills through in-house and formal training, ensuring competency in all aspects of care and awareness of clinical governance and risk management.
  • Maintaining clinical credibility by demonstrating professional development and undertaking training and education as required, ensuring the highest standard of evidence-based clinical skills.
  • Undertaking teaching sessions and presentations to staff groups, contributing to the training and education of other staff regarding the role of the UCC and ENP/ANP.
  • Adapting and developing the role of the Nurse Practitioner, ensuring flexibility and a willingness to expand the role as required.

The following skills and experience would be beneficial for the role:

  • Experience of clinical leadership.
  • Able to demonstrate teaching and assessing skills.
  • Experience of service-specific advanced clinical skills.
  • Experience of working within multi-professional settings, contributing to effective team working.
  • Able to demonstrate adherence to evidence-based practice.
  • Experience of working independently in a healthcare role.
  • V300 qualification with previous experience in a Primary Care setting.
  • Confidence in using IT systems and working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

The successful Advanced Nurse Practitioner will receive a competitive salary of £48,000 - £58,000 per annum, working 33 hours a week. In return for your hard work and commitment, you will receive a range of benefits, including:
