We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at one of our care homes. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality person-centred care to our residents, working closely with our clinical team to ensure that their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supervising and supporting a team of Care Assistants, ensuring that they receive the training and guidance they need to deliver exceptional care to our residents. You will also be expected to support the clinical team in areas such as medication management, assessments, care plans, and care reviews. Your role will involve working collaboratively with other members of the care team to create a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment that meets the individual needs of each resident.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and has a strong commitment to resident-focused care. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health and Social Care is required, and you will also need to have specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.
