About the Role

Community Integrated Care is seeking an experienced professional to join our Quality and Compliance Team as the Head of Information Governance and Compliance. This is a full-time, permanent position that can be based anywhere in the UK, with the requirement to travel to our head office in Widnes and nationally as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of effective information governance and regulatory compliance strategies.
  • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of effective risk management and board assurance processes.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to review projects and related data to ensure compliance with data privacy laws.
  • Develop and implement information management strategies, working closely with support function colleagues.
  • Commission regular audits and conduct reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and information management processes and controls.
Requirements
  • Confident decision maker, leader of people, and strong influencer.
  • Ability to manage complex quality, risk, and governance problems.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Degree or degree-level qualification in business administration, information technology, or related field.
  • Qualifications in governance, information governance, and related subjects, such as ISO or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or other relevant certifications.
  • Certified Data Protection Officer (C-DPO) or equivalent experience.
