Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will collaborate with the SSE Technical Leads to manage and support all enterprise virtual machines, cloud-based compute, storage resources, and related infrastructure. This includes developing strategies to automate lifecycle management processes, ensuring proper security controls are in place, and providing technical guidance and support to customers.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in system administration and cloud computing
  • Proficiency in Docker container technologies, Tomcat, Jenkins, and related Java application service technologies
  • Experience with Salt and/or SCCM, GitLab, scripting for CI/CD, DevOps, and general automation of processes
  • Knowledge of relational database technologies, big data technologies, and virtual machine patching and vulnerability remediation
  • Working knowledge of Active Directory, Windows and Unix file sharing, and virtual and cloud networking concepts

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills, effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, certifications in cloud platforms, DevOps, or CI/CD practices are preferred.
