Job Title: Learning Support Assistant - SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our SEN teaching staff to provide support to students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, including those with Autism
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation, including adapting materials and resources
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a smooth and successful learning experience
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with Autism
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
