Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with our SEN teaching staff to provide support to students with special educational needs.

About the Role:

This is a full-time position, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children with SEN. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with students with Autism and a strong desire to get involved in every aspect of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to students with SEN in a primary school setting
  • Work closely with SEN teaching staff to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and delivery to ensure students with SEN receive the support they need
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting students with SEN

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with students with SEN
  • A strong desire to get involved in every aspect of the school
  • Positive handling and restorative justice experience
  • First Aid training

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
