Job Title: Mortgage Advisor

We are seeking a skilled Mortgage Advisor to join our team and assist clients in securing the best mortgage deals. As a Mortgage Advisor, you will work closely with our established Estate Agency team to help customers purchase their dream home while taking care of all their mortgage and protection needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build Relationships: Develop strong relationships with our Estate Agency team through training and support.
  • Provide Mortgage Advice: Offer comprehensive mortgage advice to a diverse range of clients, assessing their financial circumstances to determine suitable mortgage products.
  • Maintain Market Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest mortgage market trends and financial products to provide expert guidance to clients.
  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Collaborate with lenders, estate agents, and solicitors to ensure smooth transactions and excellent customer service.
  • Prepare Mortgage Applications: Prepare and submit detailed mortgage applications on behalf of clients, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Offer Protection Guidance: Provide guidance on protection products related to the mortgage process, such as life insurance and home insurance.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
  • Deliver Exceptional Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, building and maintaining long-term client relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
  • CeMAP Qualification: Hold a CeMAP qualification or equivalent.
  • Proven Experience: Have proven experience as a Mortgage Advisor, preferably within an estate agency setting, with a strong track record in generating new sales and following through to completions.
  • Market Knowledge: Have a strong understanding of the mortgage market and financial regulations.
  • Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Numeracy and Attention to Detail: Have a high level of numeracy and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and build strong alliances.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Be committed to continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • Resilience and Positive Attitude: Demonstrate a resilient, positive, and friendly attitude, with a strong motivation to be successful and always do the right thing by the client.
