About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled public health nursing specialist to join our team as a Vaccine Programme Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the county-wide vaccination programme, working closely with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure maximum uptake of immunisations.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in public health nursing, with experience of supervising teams and leading clinical initiatives. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work autonomously and lead a clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to increase immunisation uptake in schools and community settings">
  • Lead a clinical team to deliver the county-wide vaccination programme, ensuring that all staff members have the necessary training and support">
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery and maximum impact">
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, tracking progress and identifying areas for improvement">
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in public health and vaccine delivery, applying knowledge and best practices to inform decision-making">

We offer a competitive salary of £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition, you will receive:
