The Role

We are offering a competitive salary of £83,119 per annum, plus benefits, to support our new Pediatric Psychiatry Specialist in this challenging yet rewarding role. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and treating children and adolescents with complex mental health needs, working closely with other professionals to provide comprehensive care.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents with ADHD and co-morbid mental health conditions
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support
  • Liaise effectively with primary care and mainstream mental health services to ensure seamless care pathways
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision to maintain high standards of practice
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance service delivery

About You

We are looking for an experienced and qualified pediatric psychiatrist who can demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A detailed understanding of child and adolescent mental health, including ADHD and co-morbid conditions, is essential for this role.
