About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bid Manager to join our team at TLT LLP. As a key member of our bids team, you will play a critical role in developing and executing our business development strategy, working closely with our partners and sector teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a structured bid process, ensuring timely and effective delivery of high-quality bids.
  • Work closely with our partners and sector teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, developing compelling and tailored bids that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Manage the bid process from opportunity assessment to submission, ensuring that all bids are thoroughly researched, well-written, and presented in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with our Commercial Business Partners to inform and develop pricing strategy, ensuring that our bids are competitively priced and aligned with our business objectives.
  • Produce tender analysis and management information, providing insights and recommendations to inform our business development strategy.
  • Maintain and update our PitchPerfect content management system, ensuring that our bid content is up-to-date and compliant with our tone of voice guidelines.
  • Prepare and coach bid teams for client presentations, ensuring that they are well-prepared and confident in their ability to present our bids.
  • Manage the continuous development of systems and processes to drive efficient bid production, ensuring that our bids are delivered on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work to multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and work with a wide range of colleagues.
  • Excellent spelling and grammar, with attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality written content.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid technical/IT understanding, with the ability to use a range of software applications and systems.
