Senior Primary School Culinary Manager

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Primary School Culinary Manager to lead our busy kitchen team at a prominent educational institution in Shropshire. As the key figure in maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, including stock management and compliance with health and safety regulations.
The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, with experience in managing teams and motivating staff to achieve their full potential. A strong focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail are essential in this role, as well as the ability to maintain accurate records and manage resources effectively.
Term time working hours apply, with additional duties including three cleaning days per week. We estimate the salary for this position to be around £25,000-£30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen team to ensure high-quality food production
- Maintain accurate records of stock management and inventory
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of students and staff
- Manage resources and budget effectively
