Academic Mentor

We are looking for an experienced Instructor to join our team at The Mews School in Wem, Shropshire, who can deliver high-quality lessons and ensure academic and personal success for students aged 11-18 who have suffered sexual trauma.

Job Description:

• Deliver high-quality lessons to students aged 11-18 who have suffered sexual trauma.">
• Work closely with the Executive Headteacher and department to achieve academic and personal goals.">
• Empathise and support the development of learning for students with diverse needs.">
• Ensure robust safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.">

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• ">
• Teaching qualification (ideally Level 2 in Maths and English or equivalent).">
• Experience of working with challenging learners.">
• Excellent communication and delivery skills.">
• Good coordination and organisational skills.">
• Demonstrable track record of student achievement.">

Salary Details:

The salary for this role is £15.33 per hour.
