About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pupils with complex Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs. You will work closely with our experienced teams to create a supportive and enriching learning environment, helping our pupils to develop their skills and confidence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with SEMH needs in a classroom setting
  • Preparing learning materials and running classroom activities
  • Providing emotional and physical support to pupils
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Experience working with SEN and in a school setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable pupils
