Public Sector Financial Reporting Assistant Manager

This role lets you utilise your skills to support audit teams, managing risk and building relationships with our colleagues.
- Critically review draft financial statements and manage risk.
- Draft responses and consult on complex financial reporting queries.
- Assist with internal guidance and training materials.
- Build strong relationships with our audit teams.
- Collaborate with colleagues in Financial Reporting and Audit Quality teams.
The minimum criteria are:
- Professional Accounting qualification (CIPFA, ACA, ICAS, CA, or ACCA).
- Post-qualification experience in External Audit to Local Authorities and Health bodies or within Local Government or Health finance.
- Excellent grasp of IFRS accounting standards and public sector implementation.
- Excellent knowledge of financial reporting in the public sector.
- Project management experience.
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
