Production Artist Role
  • To create print-ready artwork from design files, corporate guidelines, print specifications, and briefs received.
  • To adhere to an artwork checklist, ensuring the highest possible standard in every piece.
  • To possess excellent brand and design awareness, actively supporting the client's creative design team in maintaining their brand identity.
  • To produce technically correct artwork ready for auto-reproduction, considering all aspects of packaging, including colors, varnishes, whites, printer specifications, and mark-up.
  • To work collaboratively with Studio Manager, internal creative artwork teams, QA, Pre-production, to ensure consistency across accounts.
  • To stay up-to-date with master guidelines relevant to assigned clients, ensuring range consistency within and across ranges.
  • To meet deadlines for assigned clients in conjunction with the Production Manager.
  • To be proficient in relevant software and utilize the MIS and other required systems correctly.
  • To contribute to the studio team, communicating effectively and striving for a right-first-time approach.


Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Packaging designer/artworker.
  • Excellent illustrator skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Confidence to work on various briefs and resolve any issues.
  • Accuracy and high levels of attention to detail.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per annum.


The successful candidate will have a strong background in packaging design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
