A leading industrial business in the manufacturing sector is seeking an experienced Production Manager to drive operational improvement and development of the production team.

Job Summary
The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management team to lead a production unit in delivering operational best practice and will be responsible for:
- Leading and motivating a team to meet or exceed operational goals.
- Managing and supporting the production team to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Developing and monitoring departmental KPIs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Establishing clear procedures, working instructions, and method statements for all operational activities.
- Participating in yearly forecasting and annual maintenance plans to ensure business continuity.
- Improving operational management systems, processes, and best practices to drive efficiency and productivity.
- Ensuring efficient production and quality control processes are in place.
- Responsible for the day-to-day health and safety on site with a functional link into the company's Health and Safety Manager.
- Overseeing budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing to ensure financial and operational stability.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and operational guidelines.
- Coordinating with other departments to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
- Implementing strategies to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in a managerial role with strong leadership skills.
- Excellent understanding of operational processes and manufacturing best practices.
- HSE knowledge and a passion for embedding best practice HSE processes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
