SEN Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our diverse and progressive team at a fantastic Primary School in the Borough of Hackney.

About the Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with experienced and knowledgeable class teachers to support students with a range of special educational needs, including Autism (ASD), Dyslexia, ADHD, and behavioural difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with SEN in EYFS, KS1, and KS2 classes
  • Work alongside therapists, councillors, and SEN Teachers to provide a holistic approach to student support
  • Attend local SEN Schools for training in Autism Awareness and other relevant areas
  • Participate in weekly training sessions to develop your skills and knowledge
