Low Risk Care Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated Midwife to join our team, responsible for delivering high quality midwifery care to women and their babies. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months employed experience as a midwife and completion of pre or post registration midwifery programme. Key responsibilities include practicing as a midwife within the maternity services, working day duty, night duty/weekends/bank holidays and providing low risk antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care.
You will work as an autonomous, accountable and experienced practitioner, using your knowledge of legal and ethical principles in midwifery for choice, consent, client autonomy. We require someone with good problem solving and decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
This role also involves maintaining clinical skills and competencies, including adult and neonatal resuscitation, suturing, and venepuncture as appropriate. The salary for this role is estimated to be around £32,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience.
