About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Adecco. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient manufacturing of component parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of best practice engineering processes.
  • Create detailed manufacturing works instructions and visual aids to support production.
  • Interrogate customer drawings and CAD data to produce high-quality templates and kits.
  • Design and implement innovative manufacturing solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Anticipate and resolve manufacturing challenges to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Manage configuration control on projects and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Design and develop mould tools, assembly fixtures, and manufacturing aids as required.
  • Assist with cost estimation on new projects and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Implement improvement opportunities within the organization to drive continuous improvement.
  • Support and develop shop floor operatives to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Strong understanding of industry best practices in manufacturing processes and procedures.
  • Strong working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software.
  • Lean Manufacturing techniques and principles.
