About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Michael Page Finance. As the Accounts Senior, you will be working closely with the Accounts Manager to prepare accounts for a range of clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing and reviewing Statutory accounts for clients
- Preparing VAT returns and other ad-hoc accounting duties
- Client facing and being involved in meetings from the start
- Explaining complicated matters to clients in layman's terms
- Helping clients understand where they can take their businesses
Requirements
- Either QBE, working towards their ACCA/ACA qualification or fully qualified
- Experience of working in practice for at least 2 years
- Ability to communicate with clients face to face and via email/phone etc.
- Commercial awareness and a positive attitude
- Shows knowledge and interest in the Accountancy sector
