Basilica of Saint Mary of the Immaculate Conception is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sustainable Coordinator to oversee the church's Soup Kitchen and Food Pantry operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and receipt of food, beverages, equipment, and materials.
- Oversee food preparation, portion sizes, and presentation to maintain high-quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of supplies, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure staff adherence to health and food safety standards, investigating and resolving complaints regarding food quality or service.
- Schedule staff and volunteer hours, assigning duties to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate pickups and deliveries, verifying product quality and quantity.
This is a full-time non-exempt position with varying working hours Monday-Friday. If you are passionate about sustainable practices and have experience in food systems management, we encourage you to apply.
