Job Title: Site Construction Manager

At ENGINEERINGUK, we are seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager to join our team in Scotland. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of our transmission line projects in the East and North-East of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the construction team to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including health and safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with the community and local authorities.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to track project progress and performance.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of electrical plant installation and testing, cabling and wiring standards, and IEE regulations.
  • Experience in site management of complex construction projects in the utilities and electrical installation sectors.
  • Effective leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work in challenging environments.
  • HND qualified in engineering or construction management, or equivalent.
