We're looking for an experienced Transmission System Specialist to join our team and contribute to the safe and efficient transmission of electricity across Central and Southern Scotland, North Wales, and the North-West of England. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality services to our customers and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in project/programme management and a deep understanding of the regulatory environment. You will be responsible for delivering safe provision of one of the following specific activities: Customer Electrical Connections, Operations & Maintenance, and Investment Projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering safe provision of one of the following specific activities: Customer Electrical Connections, Operations & Maintenance, and Investment Projects.
- Supporting integration of asset stewardship and ownership values through sound engineering principles and coordinated planning and delivery activities to improve integrity, safety, and longevity of the electrical network.
- Engaging with stakeholders and supporting delivery of robust communication activities to facilitate the delivery of project plans and deliverables affecting local communities, customers, and stakeholders.
