About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team at SP Energy Networks. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in delivering safe and reliable electricity transmission across Central and Southern Scotland, North Wales, and the North-West of England.
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of construction and maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements, as well as experience with engineering standards and specifications up to 33kV. You will also possess project/programme experience, enabling effective delivery of projects and initiatives, and knowledge of the regulatory environment including relevant output and incentive mechanisms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering safe provision of one of the following specific activities: Customer Electrical Connections, Operations & Maintenance, and Investment Projects.
- Supporting integration of asset stewardship and ownership values through sound engineering principles and coordinated planning and delivery activities to improve integrity, safety, and longevity of the electrical network.
- Engaging with stakeholders and supporting delivery of robust communication activities to facilitate the delivery of project plans and deliverables affecting local communities, customers, and stakeholders.
